Coca-Cola has issued an apology for releasing a Coke label that included a racist term for pro wrestling fans. The company has taken a lot of heat (insider term) for it’s wrestling fan phobic label.
The label contained the racist M-word. Pro wrestling top tier A-1 journalist Dave Meltzer (no relation to our own Mave Deltzer) pointed out last year that use of the M-word to refer to wrestling fans is an exact equivalent of using the N-word to refer to African Americans.
Coke has not explained how such an offensive term got approved but promised it would not happen again. Coke is offering free counseling and a Young Bucks snuggle blanket to anyone suffering trauma from viewing the label.
