WWE Backstage got a well deserved shot in the ratings arm this week with the long awaited return of David Arquette to the pro wrestling scene.
The prior week’s episode mustered only 100,000 overnight viewers. This week’s episode featuring the heavily promoted Promo Class featuring Arquette gained nearly 80,000 viewers over last week’s episode, nearly doubling to 180,000 overnight viewers.
While his appearance seemed to please the fans, it only served to stoke the question, when will the former WCW Champion return to wrestling on television?
